Bristol Beacon is a music charity, renowned venue and award-winning music education hub. We charge a booking fee on event tickets which contributes to our ticket retail, distribution and technology costs, which in turn allows us to reinvest in Bristol Beacon, our charitable aims, our technology and the services we provide.
How much are the booking fees?
We charge a booking fee of 12% of the ticket value. All of our advertised ticket prices include the booking fee. This booking fee is the same for all payment methods.
For example:
Full price ticket = £10.00
Booking fee at 12% = £1.20
Advertised ticket price = £11.20 incl. booking fee
Additional Fees
On some events there are additional fees or levies. Where these additional fees apply we advertise the price of the ticket inclusive of the Bristol Booking fee + any additional fees. So you will only ever be advertised the total ticket price. We never hide any fees.
For transparency where additional fees apply, we explain the fee breakdown on the event page.
For example:
Full price ticket = £10.00
Booking fee at 12% = £1.20
Additional fee = £1.00
Advertised ticket price = £11.20 incl. booking fee + £1.00 additional fee
Examples of additional fees
Bristol Beacon sometimes presents gigs in external venues. Some of these venues include a 'Restoration Levy' on top of the face value ticket price. This is usually a stipulation of the contract to present an event in their venue.
